I’m an extremist in my interest. My current fix is snowboarding but I’m sure that will change with the seasons. I love travel. I like learning. I’m into new things everyday. I enjoy hitchhiking and living on a 2 dollar a day budget. I enjoy summers and cheeseball walks on the beach. But the walks with girls are few and far between and the walks almost always start in search of a place to shower. I do own a car and have a house or a dorm and I’m looking for a job. But what is fun about that. Anyway I’m interested. Expertise: pottery, manure shoveling, sanitation engineer Occupation: Unemployed/Between Jobs Industry: Hospitality

| It has been a rocky start here in Abilene, TX. However, I am now officially enrolled in my classes, plugging into some campus activities, and enjoying myself. I am at this moment addicted to tennis. I have never played before in my life so I really suck, but its so much fun. I am also addicted to smoothies in the campus center...today i had 3. One of which was berry bay or something like that..cranberry, blueberry, raspberry, and one booster (multivitamin, energy, imune, protien, or something else) but i got immune which is packed with vitamin C. and I'm also addicted to watching a movie every night. I found these sites: www.alluc.org and www.peekvid.com and i watch a free movie every night of the week. Anyway how are you guys....whoever you are.

| so this weekend has been awesome aside from a few attitudes flying out of control. We snowboarded for 3 days. I paid 7 dollars for pizza and 12.5 dollars for gas on the way up. Everything else was taken care of. The people at Ski Apache only checked a few times for lift tickets. On our first day we were caught a few times but kept boarding. Yesterday we had old tickets from the day before. No one questioned their validity. Today we had passes for January 6th but they looked like January 8th, so we got away with it again. At one point the guy checking tickets held my ticketi in his hand but saw an 8 instead of a 6 so he let me go ahead. It was a tough day though. My body had been battered and will soon bruise. I need rest. Goodnight guys. | | |
| I've never feared death in an airplane until my first flight of the new years trip. I flew from rdu to atl to meet aaron. The flight was bumpy and full. No one seemed scared but i was terrified for some reason. I just put my headphones in and listened to some regina spektor ( i cant stop). I arrived safely in atlanta and met aaron at our gate. We watched sadaams hanging or evidence of it until the last call for our flight to philly. I stepped onto the plane first and greeted the flight attendents. Aaron followed. I ducked into the 3rd row (first class). The whole time aaron and i were going crazy about how awesome our seats were. We were approached about our beverage choice but we declined. We sat on the tarmac for an hour waiting on late arrivals from another plane. We enjoyed lots of leg room and laughs. Then as we were about to take off the flight attendent came through with the roster of who was sitting in first class. They asked for our tickets and we reluctantly pulled out ours. They said 24f and d. We took the walk of shame, passing all the people that had passed us earlier saying "mamma why cant we sit there" "those seats are too expensive." We hung our heads and found seats in the back. When we landed and found our luggage it was already 2 in the morning. The airport seemed like a good place to sleep. We rolled out our sleeping bags and went to bed. The next morning people passing asked if we were waiting for flights to denver. We agreed. crap there is way too much to write...just check out www.xanga.com/thesandmonster for the rest of our trip in nyc. BUt as soon as we got back into abilene we were sitting around doing nothing and a girl messaged aaron about going to colorado to snowboard for a week. Within an hour we got packed and ready. Also in that time we convinced a friend to go and his parents and job to let him go. We were so pumped and decided to drive through the night. Then we thought hey why spend 400 bucks going 12 hours away to colorado when we could just go to ruidoso new mexico instead. We made some calls and decided to sleep till 3am and start driving which would put us on the slopes by 10 in the morning. We were told by some friends of ours that live in the area that they never check tickets at the lifts so we decided to go for it. THe first lift a guy comes up to us and says hey where are your tickets. Aaron made it passed him and went anyway. I turned back acting like i was getting a ticket. Then aaron and i went for it again.. Long story short our day consisted of 5 "getting caught" moments but free lift tickets 54 dollar value. Whenever we got caught we would just go to a different lift. It was pretty awesome. Now we're staying at Emily's house really close to the slopes. THey hooked us up so much. Hot tub. Food. Beds. Internet. Anyway im pretty pumped. and sore. We're going back tomorrow for another day of free snowboarding. sorry guys i know im lazy with xanga but im so busy with life. kyle | | |
